Would you like to take your classes global and enhance your students’ learning experience? We invite you to explore the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and Mirror Class projects.
What are COIL and Mirror Classes?
They are virtual collaboration initiatives that connect teachers and students from different institutions to work on joint academic projects. These collaborations break down geographical barriers and offer significant benefits:
- Academic enrichment: Teachers can share knowledge and experiences with colleagues from all over the world.
- Intercultural learning: Students interact with peers from other countries, broadening their worldview and developing their intercultural communication skills.
- Networking: Links are created between institutions, opening the door to future long-term collaboration opportunities.
Why participate?
By joining these projects, you will be able to:
- Provide your students with a richer and more relevant learning experience in an interconnected world.
- Strengthen your own pedagogical skills through the exchange of ideas and methodologies.
- Establish valuable contacts with a global network of teachers;
- Contribute to the development of a global learning community.
To facilitate planning, we offer you free access to a Moodle space where you can collaborate with a colleague from another institution. We will also match you with a teacher in a similar subject area free of charge.
Participation is simple and free!
